On August 24th, the Life Time Kids Tri event is coming to Chicago. These events are for kids 7-14 years of age. Young athletes swim, bike and run in this event that promotes fitness and improves your child’s self confidence as they cross the finish line on their own.
Hyland’s Masters athlete Mike Ehredt is a huge ambassador for the Life Time Kids Tri organization and encourages kids to get active and participate in one of these events. Hyland’s is always happy to support as well!
The race will start off with a swim in Lake Michigan at Chicago’s Montrose Beach. The bike and run will then take place on closed park roadways and running paths all along Chicago’s beautiful lakefront.
One of the largest triathlons for kids in the world, the Chicago Kids Triathlon attracts over 1,000 young athletes every year! Boys and girls ages 7-14 are welcome to participate in the event, and there is an individual and relay team competition. The Kids Triathlon is part of the Life Time Tri Chicago Multi-sport Weekend.
